Waterfall
Description: This original mixed media piece was inspired by elements of weather. There are moments right before a storm when everything in the sky is perfectly still....then an explosion of water.

Description: This original mixed media piece was my version of still life, with bright colors and glitter. The only thing traditional about it are the flowers.

Gold Dust
Description: An original mix media piece that started the entire Abstract Collection. This picture started as an abstract with acrylic paints, but quickly found itself home to both glitter and air brush paint. I am also a huge fan of David Bowie, especially his Ziggy Stardust album.

Melting Spring
Description: This original mixed media piece originally started off as an experiment actually. I had a deep conversation hours earlier, regarding ADHD and how it is both a gift and a curse in the same vein. When I was a child, an adult asked me what my ADHD "might look like." I realize that I completely overshot the deadline for this project, but at least I finally have a response.

Mud Slide
Description: This original mixed media piece was inspired by texture. I was talking to kid about what makes art "good". His explained how cool it was when a piece of art was all "bumpy" and full of ridges when you touched it. That way, a person could "feel" the colors....smart little guy. I then mentioned it is frowned upon to go around touching art in museum settings, and if he ever visits the Louvre, probably best to keep his hands in his pockets.

Thunder and Lightning
Description: Two original mixed media piece that are being sold individually. Both pieces are inspired by a cool fall thunderstorm that happened at dusk. The night sky was bright but in a shade of red and served as a backdrop for the white and grey clouds. As the storm moved in the sky lightened but brought with it the most beautiful yet destructive lightning.

Winter in June
Description: This original mixed media piece did not come out the way I intended it. The colors were tough to blend and did not bleed together as I thought they would. The contrasting white on purples and pinks gave it its name, Winter in June...because what can go wrong sometimes might go wrong. But I love how it came out.
